Exercise Physiologist

The best part of being an Exercise Physiologist at WPHA is working with clients to help them answer this question: “How was I active today?” It’s not a matter of what they can’t do or didn’t do, I look for what they CAN do—and help them find a way to get it done, every day—and to build on that!

About Joe Stinson

My specialty – and my passion – is Functional Movement Screening. At WPHA, I conduct the VO2 max stress testing. Following that test, I work with clients helping them assess their functional movement (“what they CAN do”). From there, my colleague, Kim Elsner-Nuñez, and I plan out how to improve and maximize their range and repertoire. It’s a perfect blend of my experience here at WPHA and my prior work experience as personal trainer and fitness coach!
